Sharp introduces alongside their first 3D flat panel TV line called LE925, the company’s first 3D-ready Blu-Ray player, model BD-HP90S.
The most interesting feature of the BD-HP90S 3D Blu-Ray player is probably its space-saving option. It sports minimalist and slim design, making it fit anywhere and can also be vertically positioned with the help of a special stand.
The Sharp BD-HP90S is 3D Blu-Ray compatible but also supports 2D Blu-Ray, DVD and CD, features support to the company’s BD-Live service, allowing access to online content and has a built-in WiFi sparing you the hassle of having extra wires all around the device.
The BD-HP90S supports Full 1080p HD as well as 1080p upscaling of DVDs. Naturally it also supports the most popular HD audio formats like Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio. The BD-HP90S also includes a USB port in the front, which will help you connect other devices for media sharing.
Sharp’s BD-HP90S 3D Blu-Ray Player will hit your local retail store in the 3rd quarter of 2010 for a price of around 400 euro in Europe. There is no word on the US release just yet.
