A different convenience store clerk at BJ's Market
A different convenience store clerk at BJ's Market sold a one-gram package of Nola Diamond grape potpourri to a Mississippi Press reporter on Sept. 14 for $21.40. A story on potpourri hitting local shelves was published in the Sept. 17 edition.
The package stated "Not for human consumption," the same languard that was on the banned products.
"We're the first ones in town to carry it," the clerk said at the time of the sale. "You roll it up and smoke it like you would your Spice. It has the same effect, but it has a different chemical in it, so it's legal. It's the new spice. Tell your friends."
