linux安装软件包心得－scim

我在安装scim时出现了这样的问题：

checking for scim >= 1.2.0... Package scim was not found in the pkg- config
search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `scim.pc' to the
PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'scim' found
configure: error: Library requirements (scim >= 1.2.0) not met; consider
adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a
nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

我感觉很奇怪，因为我在安装gstreamer的插件时出现了同样的问题。因此偶然间我明白了，如果再次出现这样的问题我就找到安装包的位置，将它设置为全局变量，方便查找。以我安装scim举例，我将scim安装在/usr/scim下，于是设置变量

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/scim/lib
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH/pkgconfig

这样的话这个问题就应该可以解决了。
