The Vintage 1945 colletion is inspired by a wristwatch created in 1845.? Now, has launched two new - very different - wristwatches: the Heritage and the Tourbillon with three gold Bridges.
Adhering to the codes of the Art Deco style, the Heritage rectangular watch aimed for perfection with its right angles and pure forms.? Its design is timeless: simplicity, geometry and structural coherence are its fundamental concepts.? Paying tribute to its heritage, the Manufacture has carried out a radical rethink of this historic model to invent contempoary creations.
The shape of the bridges of the Tourbillon is inspired by a Tourbillon manufactured by Constant Girard around 1860.? This gold pocket watch with three parallel straight nickelplated bridges and a Tourbillon escapement was awarded a first class prize by the Neuchatel Observatory.
Not only is the movement a technical and functional element, it is also a design element in its own right.? The barrel, wheel train and Tourbillon are aligned in the same axis and each of the tme is supported by a gold bridge.?
The Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with three gold Bridges reinterprets the original concept with a modern outlook: its skeleton bridges assert a highly contemporary geometric simplicity while the purity of the lines results from meticulous hand work.
