江???r代の掾民

２６０年あまりの江???r代に、百姓一揆が３０００件以上も起きたといわれる。 「士掾工商」というこの?r代の身分制度の中で、掾民の身分は、士＝武士の次に高いとされていた。しかし、彼らは武器を持つことは禁止され、与えられた土地 を出ることも杂されず、つくった米の半分近くを钌主に见めなけならなかった。そのような钙屈で苦しい生活に??する不?氦?、いろいろな形での抵抗 うんどう　 ?Fれたのだろう。

It is said that peasant uprising broke out more than 3000 times during the about-260-year-long Edo Era. In a social pyramid of "samurais-peasants-craftsmen-merchants", peasants held position next to samurais. However, they were prohibited to possess weaponry, nor were they allowed to sell land. And they had to pay a render as high as half of their harvest to the feudal lords. The peasants expressed their disatisfication with poor and miserable life through various forms of resistence.
