As Della's intern, Carrera has been seeking out craft fairs and boutiques
whatever where Della can sell their textiles and promote their mission statement.
"[Tangalakis] has such a heart for the women in Ghana. And her stuff is so cute, really fashion forward," Carrera said. Della creates accessories ranging from wallets to jewelry to MacBook cases made from vegan, Ghanaian materials.
"Most people do not realize that a majority of the African-style fabric sold in Ghana comes from China. I wanted to find reliable sources to purchase authentic Ghanaian fabric from to keep in line with Della's mission of helping stimulate the Ghanaian economy," Tangalakis said.
