An East Texas woman is dead after being crushed An East Texas woman is dead after being crushed by a large electrical motor that was in the back of her pickup.

It happened sometime before 11:00 p.m. Saturday, just two miles east of Groesbeck on Highway 164.

State Troopers say 49-year-old Kathy Odom, of Kilgore, was headed westbound when she veered off the road, into a creek bed.Her pickup ran into an embankment and the force of the crash caused the motor to slam into her.
