While Indian art forms are a rage all over the world, one can find a comprehensive slice of India here through the work of skilled craftspersons. “This is my first exhibition, but I have handled and conducted more than 30 exhibitions in various cities with Jaya Jaitly. I decided to hold my first exhibition in Mumbai because it has a great audience and people are responsive to and appreciate art and craft exhibitions,” says Santosh Meena, secretary of the association.

The organisation is a year old and they aim to support authentic artists and craftsmen and sell all the items under one roof. “I also run a shop in Lado Sarai in New Delhi, where we stock the best of art and crafts from various states. We also conduct weekly workshops, where we invite karigars from different places to sit and work so that the buyers get to observe the process,” adds Meena.

Artisans from nearly 35 places will sell their merchandise and deal with the buyers directly. Silver jewellery, kota sarees and applique work will be the highlight at this exhibition.
