January Jones' crash shows stars still crave Land Rovers If January Jones' four-car wreck proves anything, jubie it is that Land Rover still reigns as a mighty fine ride in the minds of Hollywood's power elite.

Jones, the star of the Mad Men series on AMC, crashed her Land Rover Range Rover into three parked cars as she left a hotel Thursday night after watching the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics game. She was not cited or arrested, but her Range Rover was impounded while police investigate. A Los Angeles police spokesman told Drive On Friday that no accident report was taken.

If you're going to crash a car, a Land Rover is a big hefty vehicle that offers a lot of protection. Besides actress Jones, other celebs that have been spotted tooling around Los Angeles in Land Rovers include Kim Kardasian, Keifer Sutherland, Gerard Butler, Courtney Cox and Nicole Richey.

Wait a minute! I thought all of the hollywood elite were trying to save the planet. What kind of example are they setting by driving a gas hog? Why just the other day, I saw Al Gore driving a Prius. He was driving from the front of his 757 to the other end.

They drive Range Rovers to be 'different?' They all choose the same cars, same restaurants, vacation spots, etc. Most of the Hollywood elite are nothing but drones, all doing the same thing and following the same trends. There truly is not a single real trendsetter among them.
