Coleman's will, giving his assets to ex-manager, filed in Provo According to the last known will and testament of actor Gary Coleman, PIAOhan the star of the hit sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes" didn't want anyone to attend his wake who is only interested in his money.

The will, which was drafted April 5, 1999 by his former manager, Dion Mial, names Mial as the executor. The document was filed for probate in 4th District Court in Provo on Tuesday.

The brief two-page document, obtained by The Salt Lake Tribune Tuesday, outlines that Coleman be cremated and that a wake be held in his honor. It specifies that the service be "conducted by those who have had no financial ties to me and can look each other in the eyes and say they really cared personally for Gary Coleman."

The final wish of the actor is that his personal representative "permit no members of the press to be present at my wake or funeral."

Coleman also bequeaths his entire estate to Mial, of Los Angeles. Should Mial be unable to act as executor, the will appoints his sister, Monique Madrid Marcum to serve in his place.

Coleman died May 28 after a Provo hospital after suffering a brain injury from a fall in his Santaquin home. His body remains in a Salt Lake County mortuary.

A hearing was set for July 2 at 2 p.m. in 4th District Court to appoint the personal representative.

The court is now expected to post a "notice to interested parties" alerting those connected with the estate that the will has been entered as probate. Traditionally, anyone who wishes to contest the will has 10 days to respond.

The actor's ex-wife, Shannon Price, 24, has claimed through a representative that she plans to fight the will. An amendment to the document, known as a codicil, was handwritten by Coleman in 2007 shortly after the couple were married and apparently gives all remaining assets to her.

But Mial's Salt Lake City attorney, Kent B. Alderman, states that the codicil is not valid because the couple had been divorced in 2008 and had not since remarried.

Meanwhile, Price was seeking out an attorney Tuesday. Her spokeswoman, Sheilia Erickson said that police barred Price's family from taking personal belongings from Coleman's Santaquin house Monday.

A Santaquin police officer arrived at the home as Price's father was loading a truck with things from the home.

"He [the officer] said the truck was to be unloaded and put back into the garage, PIAOhan " Erickson said. "They were loading the truck with her arts and crafts, her clothing and her personal belongings, even though Shannon does own the deed to the house."
