D&S Manufacturing of Black River Falls recently celebrated more than $8-million expansion to its facility and equipment.
“Over the years, the facility grew into a less-than-optimal layout, so this expansion was intended to give us more space and completely revise the layout of the equipment to give us better workflow,” said Michael Dougherty, the company’s president.
D&S began operations in 1965 when Michael’s father, James Dougherty, bought a welding and from a Black River Falls
Concrete Mixer man.
