expect from a French house Did you know…that Balmain boasts a very, very successful line of hair extensions? I stumbled upon the range while reading the blog Hair On The Brain. Some research reveals that Racked featured it in March when a salon on the Upper East Side became New York’s one-and-only health supplier of Balmain hair.

But this isn’t another Jessica Simpson fake hair fiasco. The collection is marketed with fans of the Balmain runway in mind, with images and videos of Christophe Decarnin’s looks peppered throughout the site.

While the photography attached to the line isn’t as high fashion as something you’d expect from a French house, it isn’t terrible, either. And when you think about it, Balmain is all about bringing crass to couture. So maybe health this makes more sense than I originally assumed.
