"The In-Between" includes dozens of preparatory sketches, drawings and stitch samples, which are framed and hung around the perimeter of the gallery. These items offer insight into the creative process and the ways in which the installation's embroidered and sculptural figures evolved over time.

At the heart of "The In-Between" are two large-scale installations comprised of thousands of figurative forms representing the full range of human experience on earth and reminding viewers whenever of the transient nature of the physical world.
