Monday a car clipped the truck
A Semi truck carrying diesel fuel started leaking onto
beautiful the highway after a minor accident.
Just before 7 a.m. Monday a car clipped the truck. The car then went around the truck and collided with an SUV. Everyone involved is ok with no serious injuries. The truck started leaking diesel fuel onto the right shoulder and the Fruitridge Road exit had to be closed to northbound traffic.
Crews used sand and plastic tarps to stop the about 40 gallons of fuel that spilled from getting into the gutters or onto the roadway. The drums of fuel had to be removed from the truck before it could be moved off the shoulder just before 9 a.m.Street sweepers were sent through after the truck was moved, and the roadway is
beautiful clear and clean of fuel at this time.
