Rotor went to see departmental legal staff
Once back in Canada, Rotor went to see departmental legal staff
metres on Aug. 11, 2006, to express concern about Fortier’s involvement in contracts related to a $1.4-billion sale of government real estate. They told Rotor they couldn’t help him.
A few days later, a damaging story about Rotor and Tipple’s trip appeared on the front page of the Globe and Mail.
Based on a leaked document, it reported that the government had had to apologize to Britain after Rotor and Tipple skipped meetings.
