From snowy peaks made of cotton snowballs, to the deep seas containing volcanic vents that spew threads of yarn, to a space age city that has Kirby maneuvering through threads of electricity, this game has a ton of variety packed into its six worlds.

Along with the variety of locales, there are many facets to the gameplay as well. Kirby can transform into things such as a car, a balloon and a submarine to traverse the environments. There are also several instances where Kirby will transform into a powerful vehicle such as a fire truck or a tank for the end of a level, and this creates some of the game's most entertaining moments.

A particularly memorable moment took place in the futuristic final stages of deportation the game, when Kirby turned into a spaceship and a flashback Galaga-esque sequence ensued.
