Despite being a political hot potato, banned by the Government from the recent tax review, ordinary Aussies think it needs a drastic overhaul.In fact, many suggest it should be increased. They want a higher GST in a trade-off for more simple and lower taxes on almost everything else.

Flat marginal tax rates on wages and incomes, no stamp duty on property purchases, a ban on superannuation tax and an end to the hundreds of crippling taxes and duties on small businesses and the self-employed.
