iBank 4 adds direct downloads from online accounts
IGG Software today announced iBank 4, a major upgrade of
however its Mac money management software. The software allows users to monitor account balances, track investments, maintain budgets and manage credit cards. It can also generate reports for further financial analysis and can reconcile paper statements. iBank can manage checking accounts and savings accounts, as well as 401K accounts, lines of credit, money market accounts and loans. It can create and manage multiple budgets.
The upgrade features a new reporting engine and a new budgeting approach, using envelopes to represent classic budgeting. A new template system merges memorized transactions, scheduled transactions and smart import rules into one feature.
iBank 4 adds direct downloads from online accounts, custom check printing, improved data export and iPhone sync. It also has major speed upgrades, with faster and more intuitive transaction entry with dynamic editing options and a streamlined set-up process for downloading transactions from online bank accounts. Investment tracking and multiple currency support are improved in v4.
