Our Boardwalk certainly offers a vast variety of things Among the tourist staples of sunglasses, T-shirts, pizza, ice cream and candy, the merchandise at Marcellina seems especially upscale. That's welcome by a segment of the visitors and locals alike.

"Our Boardwalk certainly offers a vast variety of things, and the T-shirts and such are iconic and that's Wildwood, but it's nice to have a place you can get name-brand jewelry and clothing and accessories," said Tracey DuFault, executive director of the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce. "My kids go in the T-shirt shops and I go next door."

Marcellina owner Tina Ziccardi, 44, of Wildwood Crest, is also appreciative of the diversifying Boardwalk."Every year there are new, pleasant surprises, which is good. That's what we'd all like to see," she said.
