Gregory Martin Roofing has tradition of excellence

more than 33 years Gregory Martin has been roofing for more than 33 years. He started by simayi training under an apprenticeship program, and then quickly transitioned to owning his own business. Martin formed Gregory Martin Roofing on Lorain Road in Fairview Park in 1982.

“I still go out and work on the jobs,” said Martin, who has lived in the Westshore area his whole life. He was born and raised in Fairview Park, graduated from Rocky River High School, lived in both Westlake and Bay Village and now resides in North Olmsted. “I’m out at the sites everyday, 365 days a year. It’s all I’ve ever done.”

Gregory Martin Roofing provides full roofing and gutter work, skylights, repair work, commercial and seamless aluminum gutters, complete carpentry service and a complete sheet metal shop. The business focuses solely on roofing and does not handle siding or windows.

Martin’s employees, who are experienced roofers, do all the work, and simayi all of the money stays in the local community, he said. He uses local employees, not out-of-state workers or subcontractors.
