The desktop you are trying to open..

If a citrix server is installed, and users are also added to it. But the citrix users who were added just now couldn't remote to the citrix server.And it shows the warning:

The desktop you are trying to open is currently available only to administrators.

 

How can I do it?

 

It is because when I finished the citrix server's installation I do some optimization to it, and I limited the citrix users Only run Published Applications, then the warning shows.

Solution:

1. To allow all users the ability to make desktop connections, in Citrix Connection Configuration double-click the ICA-tcp listener port, click Advanced, and clear the setting Only run Published Applications. Repeat the same steps for the RDP-tcp listener port.

2. Publish the desktop as an application and give access to users who need it. They can connect only to that published desktop using the ICA client.

To allow users to connect with an RDP connection, clear Only launch Published Applications under the Advanced Connection settings of the RDP-TCP listener.
