VMware6.0下Ubuntu8.04鼠标滑轮不能使用的解决方案

我在VMware 6.0.3中安装了虚拟Ubuntu 8.04正式版！一切安装正常！VMware Tools也安装了。但是发现鼠标滚轮在Ubuntu8.04中不管用！我在网上查了一些办法,解决办法如下：
在/etc/X11 目录下的xorg.conf文件有如下内容：
原文件对应内容
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "vmmouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"


现在需要将其修改成：
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Configured Mouse"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"

保存后,重启虚拟机即可！

修改 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 文件
Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "single head configuration"
Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0
InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard"
InputDevice "VMMouse" "CorePointer"
#InputDevice "XWorkAround"
EndSection

注释掉滚轮就好用了。
