最近的两件事情让我觉得形成很有趣的对比，一是美联储和华尔街的人挤在一起，抓耳挠腮想要搞清楚次贷危机的影响能有多大，究竟还能做点什么避免危机走向不可收拾，二是物理学家们集结在欧洲，人为的制造“大爆炸”，希望能够借此对我们的宇宙有更深刻的理解。这两件事情的共同点是，两件事情都有数量巨大的理论物理学家参与。这两件事情的巨大不同是，一边是人类自己制造出来的东西，人类却搞不清楚究竟是怎么回事；一边是创造了人类的东西，人类却试图搞明白这个东西。
我真的觉得人类在科学领域的进展神速和在社会领域的进展缓慢，有时甚至是倒退，实在不知是人类之福还是人类之祸。
