Dear tutor and classmates, the following is a real story. I believe that the story will not only remind your special  afective memory as same as mine if you are a middle -aged person, but also make you feel it interesting if you are still young . I’m looking forward to that you can read it from the beginning to the end and tell me where she has gone. Thank you!

My friend, where have you gone?
“Good evening! ”
Hearing the greeting, I turned my head and saw a middle-aged woman looking at me with smile. She looked very familiar to me, with long-shape face, big eyes and straight nose. “Perhaps we had known each other.” I guess.
“Did you come here after work? Would you like to buy something? ” said she.
“No!”hearing what she asked, I understood that she was just a street vendor trying to sell her goods to me.

Since then, she always greeted me just like my “good friend” when I passed by, despite nothing was bought from her stall.

One day, I stood in front of her stall and asked her:
“Do you have any small black hairpins without any decoration?”
“Nowadays young people don’t use it any more. Few shops sell it.” said she.
“I know, but...”
“Don’t worry, I’ll help you, and you can get it here a few days later.”
“Thank you!”

Three days later, she said to me: “Here you are! This is the black hairpin, specially required goods for you!”
“Thank you!” I was glad to take the hairpin.
“When I was young, I also liked it very much just as you!”
“Yes, you look at the same age as me.” said I.
“You look very young, I think that I’m elder than you.” said she.
In Chinese tradition, I should tell my age to her in order to show my sincerity that she was regarded as my friend. So, I said to her: “I was born in 1960, and you?”
“Ha, we were born in the same year! ” said her in happiness. As the Chinese communicative habit, if someone tells you her real age with happiness, it means that she has accepted you as her sincere friends.“I graduated from High School No.3 and you?” said she continuously.
“Number 5.” said I.
Although we were not classmates, we were still feeling very excited, so we looked at each other with our eyes in shining.
Dear readers, perhaps you don’t understand why we are so excited. I want to tell you that, it is just like finding out a picture of my childhood house among new pictures. From there, I got a special memory and feeling.
That night was very beautiful. On the ground, the light of countless lamps of cars was interwoven with flashing trees and silver-like flowers. In the sky, many shining kites were flying with beautiful music heard afar. She pointed to a shining kite in the sky and said to me: “It has become a past memory for us.” I remember when she spoke, her face suffused with a layer of white light, looking younger much more.

Since then, I often talked with her for a few minutes when I passed by.
But one day, she disappeared suddenly.
Surprisingly, I saw her in a fish-market someday. She told me that it was not permitted to do business in that stall in the old place. She said that her husband had left her. She needed to earn money to support her child who was learning at a high school. She sold fish with profits much more than other small goods.
“Your life is not easy.” said I in sympathy.  “I have many books of examination for university admissions. I can give you as a gift.”
"Ok, thank you!" said she gladly.
God knows I was doing so sincerely and seriously. When I came to the market after a few weeks, I could not see her on site. A person next to her stall told me that she was ill and would probably come back in a few days.
But I didn’t have time to the market from then on .Before I left China for Europe I had to leave my books to her friend and hope the books could be transferred to her some day.

Two years later, I came back to China. To my surprise, the original market with many stalls was replaced by large buildings with supermarkets inside, and there were different kinds of goods on sale, and many sellers and many customers were seen there as well. I hoped to see her, but she was nowhere.

"Where have you gone? Did you receive my books? Should I find you somewhere? I miss you very much, my dear friend in my same age." I murmured repeatedly in my mind.
