Transporting BW objects from a development system to other systems

The following steps constitute a high-level procedure for transporting BW objects from a development system to other systems:

1. Install the BW systems.

2. Install the Plug-In (PI) in the R/3 systems.

3. Create R/3 source systems in the BW systems.

4. Replicate the DataSources in the BW systems.

5. Create or modify BW objects in the development system.

6. Transport the objects from the development system to the quality assurance system for testing.

7. After completing the testing, transport the objects from the development system to the production system.
