文化差异

今天的DINNER吃得有点不高兴。

 

还是4点多我们就在想去哪里吃晚饭了。 折腾了半天， GRACE还是想来“我家”自己做饭吃。于是我打电话给YASH， 问她是否可以回来煮饭，而且还会有一位GUEST。但很高兴，没有说不好， 就答应了。 也许她和我一样，不懂得说NO吧。

 

当我们七点买好菜回家时， 她看上去不是那么的热情。。。。。。。

 

当我们开始要炒菜时，她的HUSBAND回来了， 然后，她从厨房出去客厅， whispered with her husband in indian.GRACE也猜到了她是在说我们来做饭了。 GRACE说我应该打电话和她老公说，而不是她，因为她好象做不了主。。。。。。  唉。。。。 不过还好， SREE过来笑了笑，只是说，like cooking ? 我真的有种做错事的孩子一样。 唉。。。 为什么？

 

 

开始炒了， 有油烟， 他们在客厅说， WOW，  Too much smoke。 YASH过来看了看我们在做什么。。。。。。 我更觉得不好意思了。 。。 GRACE叫我过去跟她们解释一下。 。。。 

 

"Hi, I am sorry for the smoke, but we have to cook it, because we have already prepared,"

"Next time you cook outside, don't cook at home". Sree didn't look at me.

 

我当时真有把菜都扔了不要了的冲动。。。。我跟GRACE说我要搬出去。。。。。。

和GRACE在厨房聊了很久。。。 我想着那些中文歌的CD还没有还他呢， 赶快还了好了。。。 于是把CD还给他."Thanks for the chinese songs, I like it."

 

"Good, are the songs old？"

 

"No, they are not very outdate, because Iam not younger. well, I am sorry for the cooking, but I called your wife and get the allowance before my back."

 

"It is okay, but you know it is not easy to clean,,,, and the owner will ask us,,,,,,, and my wife is the only lady to clean the house,,,,,,,, do you understand us?" he explained a lot. but anyway, he smiled this time.

 

I feel better now.

 

hehehhe, anyway, 他们还算不错。至少在别的方面。 这也只是一个小小的事吧。
