Families in IPv6
As in
IPv4, IPv6 has two families of routing protocols:
Ø Interior
Gateway Protocol(IGP) for inside autonomous system(AS)
Ø Exterior
Gateway Protocol(EGP) for peering between AS
Ø IPv6
still uses the longest-prefix match routing algorithm
