VMware6安装Fedora5遇到2个问题
1.vmware上安装liunx提示‘no drives found ……’
在vmware中安装Fedora Core出现如下问题：.
选择完语言和键盘后出现下列问题“no drives found an error
has occurred no valid devices were found on which to create new file
systems please check your hard ware for the cause of this probke
"点ok后就重新引导！
解决方法：
这是因为vmware在创建一个虚拟系统的时候硬盘默认是SCSI的。而fc5默认启动硬盘是IDE的。因此有两个解决办法：
1、手动在vmware中修改硬盘的属性，将SCSI改称IDE。 如果不能改动就将原来SCSI的硬盘删除，添加上一个IDE的硬盘。
2、不改动vmware，而是在安装fc5出现“Warning No hard drives have been found. You
probaly need to manually choose device drivers for the installation to
succeed. Would you like to select drivers
now?”时（这个框框出现在字符界面时，即此时还没有进入图形安装界面）选择Yes。然后再后面出现的框中选择Add。之后找到“BusLogic
MultiMaster SCSI (BusLogic)”并选择添加它。之后继续安装。
这样一来，就不会再出现题目中的问题了。
2.vmware上安装vmware-install-tool 提示
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]
The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory.

其实解决的方法非常简单:
[root@ ~]#reboot
重启后看启动的选择菜单多出了一项
Fedora Core (2.6.16-1.2080_FC5)
Fedora Core 5 (2.6.15-1.2054_FC5)
选后面是2.6.16-1.2080_FC5)那一项
[root@ ~]#cd /tmp
[root@ ~]#tar zxvf vmware-any-any-update101.tar.gz
[root@ ~]#cd vmware-any-any-update101
[root@ vmware-any-any-update101]# ./runme.pl
