下面分别是2个命令在本系统的输出结果,为了比较方便,把2者列表中相同的条目合并到lscfg结果的列表中,并使用以下办法来识别:1为lscfg结果,2为lsdev的结果。有几个发现:
1、 2个命令列出来的设备lscfg仅仅列出的是物理设备,lsdev会把物理和逻辑设备都列出来。比如ent0为物理设备,en0,et0是对应的逻辑设备。Lscfg会仅仅列出ent0。后者则把ent0、en0、et0都列了出来。
2、 2个命令都会列出设备的location code,但是使用的表示法不一样。Lscfg使用了物理位置编号,lsdev使用AIX系统位置编号。如

3、2个命令列表标题差异
lscfg :[DeviceName:Location Code: Description]
lsdev :[DeviceName:Status:Location Code:Description]
4、lscfg会列出系统一下体系方面的信息。比如chrp,pci结构
5、任何一个命令输出的DeviceName都可以作为lsattr命令可用的设备名来进行设备属性查询。
6、lscfg 命令参数为v :显示VPD;P:显示平台具体信息;r显示rspc系统上平台具体设备的信息。显示的内容就可以包括该物理设备的SN等信息,在这方面lsdev好像无能为力,看看下面的结果,你会发现对hdisk1的查询lsdev只是把这个设备的信息单独地列出来而已。这么看应该可以这样理解,lsdev只是提供查询设备的名称等简单的信息,就好像可以让用户知道有这么个物理(逻辑)设备存在。Lscfg可以把设备的外在属性列出来。性能属性就需要使用lsattr命令来列表了。
