升级150机器MICROCODE实例

   昨天终于拿到5.3的盘，听说150机器升级微码可以上5.3，今天上CU刚好bxliu (小虎)同学在问150升

级的事情，于是实操了一次。
PS:按IBM的文档说明，有很多的方法可以升级，我机器的实际情况是150的机器，原来版本是

TCP00265，是远程使用Xmaneger启动CDE的dtterm下操作的。微码文件放到hd中。
步骤、
1、详细看了IBM文档；

特别留意了一个说明，微码的文件名命名规则，原来是TCP＋2位年＋3位一年的第几天，原来机器的

版本是TCP00265,天啊，6年之前的微码。
2、下载微码。
3、通过ftp上传到150的/home下。
4、解压
   #cd /home
   #chmod   +x   7043150I.BIN
   #./7043150I.BIN
解压的结果是在/home下产生了一个7043150I.img文件。
4＋、检验一下微码.
   #sum 7043150I.BIN
   25767  1024  TCP05287.img
跟文档说的一样，应该没有任何问题了。

5、好了，准备工作都完成。开始动手升级，但是这个时候有点担心，不知道万一升级失败之后需要

怎么处理。IBM文档也没有说明。还是动手吧，不管3721了。
# cd  /usr/lpp/diagnostics/bin
#./update_flash -f /home/TCP05287.img
size = 2048
size_available = 28000

6、重启了。看看结果。
# lscfg -vp |grep -p openprom

update and the required reboot.  If you confirm, the system will apply the new firmware,

reboot and return to the AIX prompt.  This may take one to ten minutes, depending on the

configuration of the target system.
   需要1～10分钟,难道我的操作错了？？？？？但是微码的确升级了啊。怎么回事？
