qingy is a replacement for getty.
Written in C, it uses to provide a fast, nice GUI
without the overhead of the X Windows System.
It allows the user to log in and start the session of his choice
(text console, gnome, kde, wmaker, ...).
可以定制启动时候的画面，对于没有X的用户来说比较酷！对于有X的用户，直接启动到x，这样就省去了gdm或者是kdm或者是xdm。
