FreeBSD8.2 AMD64桌面小记

1、AMD64中，fcitx和eva、wine都已经不再适用，改用scim来输入，直接pkg_add -r zh-scim-tables，连五笔一起安装上了；eva和wine，都直接用virtualbox了。

2、安装zh_CN-kde

3、安装nvidia的驱动，需要/usr/src，可以到官方下载驱动，也可以到/usr/ports/x11/nvidia-driver/中安装，如果没有特殊的需要，可以不安装linux支持。
     ATI驱动仍然不完善，用X700老莫名奇妙死机。

4、cvsup源，用cvsup6.tw.freebsd.org，速度100K＋

5、用virtualbox来完成Flash和QQ。

6、在启用了显卡加速后，OPENGL的屏保程序，预览比测试和运行更耗CPU。

7、/一般分1G，但是默认的/root也在/中，所以要在virtualbox中，把所有存储方面的东西，从~root中修改，否则运行时会出disk_full的错误。
     Virtualbox中，CPU的数量设置为跟宿主机相同，性能更好。在E5400下，设置一个CPU的情况下，虚拟机用XP，播放视频时CPU利用率在80%，设置了两个CPU，CPU利用率降到50以下。

8、wine目前不支持64位系统

9、wqy的几个新字体对液晶支持都不是很好，字发虚，点阵字还凑合。
     FireFox用wqy点阵正黑，效果还不错。

10、声卡，由于有两个声卡，主板和显卡上都带，并且默认显卡上的优先，导致系统不出声音。
      ls /dev时，显示有8个dsp

    （1）/boot/loader.conf
               snd_hda_load="yes"
    （2）/etc/sysctl.conf
            hw.snd.default_unit=4
            声音方面的内核变量，主要用hw.snd和dev.pcm（网上很多资料写的是hw.pcm或dev.snd）
    （3）5.1声道的设置
    （4）声音的工具：mixer

11、多声道的处理

     多声道播放，还是用smplayer，在音频上调整5.1声道。

Multichannel Audio
Multichannel audio, popularly referred to as ``surround sound'' is sup-
ported and enabled by default. The FreeBSD multichannel matrix processor
supports up to 18 interleaved channels, but the limit is currently set to
8 channels (as commonly used for 7.1 surround sound). The internal
matrix mapping can handle reduction, expansion or re-routing of channels.
This provides a base interface for related multichannel ioctl() support.
Multichannel audio works both with and without VCHANs. Most bridge
device drivers are still missing multichannel matrixing support , but in
most cases this should be trivial to implement. Use the
dev.pcm.%d.[play|rec].vchanformat to adjust the number of chan-
nels used. The current multichannel interleaved structure and arrange-
ment was implemented by inspecting various popular UNIX applications.
There were no single standard, so much care has been taken to try to sat-
isfy each possible scenario, despite the fact that each application has
its own conflicting standard.

dev.pcm.%d.[play|rec].vchanformat
Format for VCHAN mixing. All playback paths will be converted to
this format before the mixing process begins. By default only 2
channels are enabled. Available options include:

s16le:1.0
Mono

s16le:2.0
Stereo, 2 channels (left, right).

s16le:2.1
3 channels (left, right, LFE).

s16le:3.0
3 channels (left, right, rear center).

s16le:4.0
Quadraphonic, 4 channels (front/rear left and right).

s16le:4.1
5 channels (4.0 + LFE).

s16le:5.0
5 channels (4.0 + center).

s16le:5.1
6 channels (4.0 + center + LFE).

      用的是修改hints的方法

12、启动的时候Akonad报错，原因是mysql不能以root启动，如果是root用户，则要在/root/.local/share/akonadi/mysql.conf中的mysqld小节中添加：user=root。

13、启用桌面特效，半透明的效果和窗口的光环确实漂亮，但是要增加10％左右的CPU占用率，如果不启用显卡加速，特效启动不起来。

14、非root用户使用konsole的时候，如果locale没有设置（也可能会是没有设置为UTF－8），则会闪一下就消失，设置为locale为utf-8就可以使用。默认字体为9号，偏小，设置为12号要好一些。

15、如果K菜单下方的“收藏夹”、“应用程序”等为英文，检查一下locale设置，必须跟“系统设置”中的语言相对应才能正确显示。

17、环境变量设置的位置：
    /etc/profile; /etc/xprofile; /etc/login.conf;  跟用户无关的
　　~/.cshrc; ~/.shrc; ~/.xinitrc ; ~/.profile; ~/.xprofile   跟用户有关的
   在gdm配置文件夹中，有个Xsession，里面先是shell配置，如.cshrc等，再是/etc/xprofile，最后是~/.xprofile。

18、kwrite需要在“配置编辑器“－＞“打开／保存”中设置中文编码，否则不能保存中文，一般是utf-8比较保险。
