Compiere Plus services by Daffodil
The Daffodil team has now taken their open source journey to the next phase. After making Daffodil DB compatible with Compiere ; we have now started to offer software services around Compiere .
A brief chronology of events will highlight our credentials and relationship with Compiere and the Compiere community.
Daffodil Software launches software services division (Daffodil Solutions); one of the key areas of expertise - open source consulting - ( June, 2004 )
Daffodil Software begins work on making Daffodil DB (their Java RDBMS) compatible with Compiere - ( October, 2004 )
Daffodil DB (v4.0) made compatible with Compiere. Offered free to the community - ( January, 2005 )
Launch of CODAF (Compiere + Daffodil), an ERP for the 10-users-or-less environment - ( March, 2005 )
Daffodil announces the launch of services around Compiere (Compiere Plus) - (April, 2005)
Daffodil announces the launch of the New CODAF - compatible with the latest Compiere version (2.5.2) - ( April, 2005 )

Services under Compiere Plus
Software development based upon Compiere : We can work upon software products and software applications in which Compiere is an intrinsic part. A typical example could be integration of your shopping cart with Compiere. Basically, anything that you can think of that involves Compiere, we can deliver upon.
You could be a Tire retailer, a Pharmaceuticals distributor, an Auto parts manufacturer, a Cable manufacturer, a Software developer and ISP, a Book and journal publisher, a Metal parts company, a Food distribution company or (but not limited to) an Industrial services company - we are here to serve all of you.
Compiere customization: As with many open source software, Compiere might involve customization from time to time. Based upon your needs, your industry focus and your precise requirements out of Compiere, we can customize both Compiere and CODAF (in case customization of the database is what you have been looking at).
As with many software's that are not 'off-the-shelf' - with due credit - Compiere is a customization intensive option. If the community, of which we are all a part, has a solution that serves your need, we advise you to opt for the same. For all other issues, we are here to help and support you.
Migration : You might want to migrate from a version of Compiere to another version of Compiere, or from a database version to another. We can help you migrate from any release to the current release, migrate (a single Client) from one database to another database (user), migrate/copy only setup (i.e. no transactions) or Delete clients or transactions ("clean start").
Training and Consultancy : These two have been clubbed because we expect these to kick start at the same time and also to co-exist. We are planning to launch (with the Compiere India Training Program 2005) Compiere training programs in Asia to start with.
