SOLVED

I had the same two issues described by everybody:
* wireless would stop working all together, red cross on the wireless bars, no networks found
* black screen after sleep, 10 second reset, etc

I uninstalled ALL the Windows updates and went one by one and these two little Windows Update suckers were the problem, so uninstall them:

1) Run "wuapp" on desktop mode
2) Go to "change settings" and change it to "Check for updates but let me choose when to download and install them"
3) Go back to previous screen (back arrow on top left)
4) Go to "Installed Updates" on the lower left corner
5) Locate the update "KB2883200" and uninstall. Be patient, it will uninstall and reboot (approx 5 mins)
6) Repeat steps 1, 4
7) Locate the update "KB2887595" and uninstall. Be patient, it will uninstall and reboot (approx 5 mins)

Enjoy your tablet!

The only issue I have now is that sometimes the brightness will come at 100% when logging in but that's nothing compared to the other problems.

NOTE: I have all the updates from Dell, FW v03, latest wireless drivers, etc. Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing except getting rid of those two updates.

IRONIC:
The update KB2883200 states: KNOWN ISSUES of this update: "You experience an error when resuming a computer from hibernation, and a blank screen is shown. This issue may occur with some computers that have TPM chips enabled.
Microsoft is aware of this issue, and this article will be updated when a fix is available.

DOH!!!! Microsoft, put your act together!

I have been installing the latest windows updates on my new V8P after a factory reset, and have found that after installing the following update, my wireless adapter gets hosed. KB2903939. It took some time to isolate this one, but after uninstalling and rebooting, my wifi connection works again.

Does anyone know if any of the newer updates 'fixes' this one so I can install it? Has anyone had a similar issue?

I had the same problem yesterday when I updated the BIOS to A04. I reset the machine back to factory after I was unable to resolve the wifi issue. I am thinking now that perhaps I already had this update installed which doesn't seem to want to work with the new BIOS.
