Traffice accident

I finally got the traffice accident .

It was a long day, Juyl 31 2008. I drove Nice to her office because she had to bring two watermelons to the lunch and shared them with her workmates. After she left ,I was going to park my car at the street, in the end, I changed my mind and still parked my car in the navy car park according to the plan I had made before.

I drove my car and left the downtown. I missed the outlet which heads to the navy car park ,so I had to find another way to return the 40 highway Eest. There was about 15 minutes I found the correct road and I finally drove my car on the 40 highway Eest. The time was about 8:22 AM, the traffic was so crowded that I had to stop ,suddenly I saw the red car behind of my car from the mirror going straight to my car with a high speed ,just in one second, the red car hit the humper of my car with a huge noise. I was so shocked that I sit down there with blank and I couldn't think of anything at the moment.

I called Nice immediately but couldn't get any answer cause Nice's cell phone was turned to silent. I called Wenhui and told him what happened and asked him what should I do. He told me that there were two methods to handle these kind of traffic accident. One is handlding it by private, means we didn't call the 911 ,just make a deal between us and then the person who hit my car would pay all of the fee to the garage in repairing car. No records in the insurance company and the Police bureau. The second way is to call 911, and then all processes would follow the the procedure. The police officer and the insurance company agent would tell you how to do it.

Just at the moment I was going to talk with tht woman ,the police officer and about 3 cars which came from CAAQ had arrived .woman called the police and they arrived here after 10 minutes. The polica officer asked me for the driver licence ,car licence and insurance paper. I gave them to him except the insurance paper. Then he returned back his car and begining fill out something on the computer. At the moment, the woman came to me with a man who seemed like a staff. The man asked me "why you stopped there?" I answered that because all of the cars in front of my car were stopped, so I stopped too. It was only the conversation I remembered between the staff and me about the cause of this traffice accident.

After that, the police officer gave me a paper and told me just make a phone call to my insurance agent and told them the number wrote on this paper. I left and parked my car in the navy car park. I called Nice again and told her what happened.Nice was worry about me very much,but I said I'm ok just some parts of our car had broken.The humper, tail exhaust pipe and the taillight. As a matter of fact,the engine was the thing I most concerned. Because I hear a diffent noice from the engine. The noice I had never hear before. It was more big than usually it being. I thought that there must be something wrong with my engine.

The insurance agent SEIAE told me there was a problem on the insurance contract of the car. Because there was only one people's name in that contract,my Nice. But because I was Nice's husband, so it would be ok. The agent asked many questions about me, Nice and car.I told her that I drove the car often, The amount of the kilometer I have drove with the car were about 10,000 kilometers. Then the agent told me a address of the arage where could examine and repair my car and nearby Pierrefonds blvd. It was 4550 ,MITSUBISHI body-shop.

I drove my car and went back Pierrefonds. I found the body-shop and told them why I came here.I gave them the claim number created by insurance company. There was a man looked like a manager told me that I could come back on next week Monday because they didn't have people to handle this issue today. I told him that I concerned about the engine of my car, I was worry about it very much because it was possible something wrong with the engine.My words worked. The manager called immediately another man and checked my car with that man. About a few minutes,that man told the manager that the car was in a dangerous situation and it wasn't allowed to drive outside before it has been fixed completely.

Since this suggestion,I was told there was another car I could use during the period in repairing my car,all of the fee paied by insurance company. I saw the fee in renting the car was $26.00 per day. Finally,I drove the KIA and went back home with a rent contract.
