When talking about going to certain places, it's not uncommon to make these places possessive. For example:
I have an appointment at the doctor's.
The phrase doctor's office has been shortened to doctor's. This is also done with other place names, for example:
dentist's office = dentist's
pharmacist's shop = pharmacist's
Note: we don't use this for specific place names like hospital or clinic.
