Study of Spanning Tree Protocol and Security on
Bridge Protocol Date Unit

Abstract: Spanning Tree Protocol will be able to overcome the problems of transparent bridge in a redundant network. Through the use of ring road, STP can avoid and eliminate loop in the network. By judging the local loop and blocking redundant link in the network, STP produces a significant impact on the exchange network.This papper introduces in detail the theory of STP,and explores the security on BPDU.
