Problem
It is
bothersome that a screensaver shows up when you are watching a
wonderful film. Luckily, VLC media player have provided an option to
prevent a screensaver from interrupting the video playback. Let me show
you this feature.
Solution
- Open VLC media player.
- From the main menu, go to Tools -> Preferences to open the Preferences settings dialog box.
- In the Preferences dialog box, select the All checkbox at the bottom left corner. Click on the Video icon, and under General Video Settings section, choose the Disable Screensaver checkbox. Then click the save button to close the dialog box.
- Now screensaver is disabled during playback on VLC media player.
