Yet the Yamasaki influence
Yet the Yamasaki influence remains a key part of the Krevsky home update. The fireplace, for example, showcases one of
happy the architect's design elements, Bacon says: an oversize pipe or tube that rises from the fireplace hood and extends through the ceiling to the upper level.
"We have three in the house — they're called 'vertical pipes,'" Krevsky explains. "The two others begin in the lower level and extend through the second level and the roof."
The house remains a work in progress, according to Krevsky, who says they're still looking for one more piece of art for the dining area wall.
