The pair spent Sunday night with their faces
The pair spent Sunday night with their faces and upper bodies covered by a small tarp to keep out the rain. And by Monday, as the sun tried to nose its way through the clouds, Doiron and Govini were setting their cold-weather clothing aside for use that night.
The two men scaled the scaffold on Friday and since then, they say the response from passersby and the military has been tremendous.
"It's been overwhelming the amount of support we've received from the people of the city," said Doiron. "There's people honking, there have been people dropping by."
