Hydraulic tools are exceedingly efficient KTS Trading Sdn Bhd (KTS Trading), the sole authorised distributor for Decorative Atlas Copco hand-held hydraulic tools for East Malaysia, will hold a series of roadshows at Sibu Gateway this morning (Dec 10) from 9am to 10am.About 80 people are expected to turn up during the demo session where the participants will have a chance to try their hands on the powerful tools.

“Members of the public who are interested to know more about the hand-held hydraulic tools are also welcome to our demo session,” a spokesman from KTS Trading said.The tools driven by hydraulic power packs include breakers, rock drills, cut-off saws, submersible water pumps, post drivers, post pullers, post hole borers and core drills. The spokesman said there were many advantages of hand-held hydraulics over air or electric tools.

“Lower capital cost is one distinct benefit. You only spend 50 per cent of the purchase cost for a single 130cfm air compressor, to get the hydraulic power pack and a breaker,” he said.Lower operating cost is evident with the compact nine to 18 horsepower (hp) petrol or diesel engine where fuel costs, repair and Decorative maintenance costs are considerably lower due to ease of transport.Hydraulic tools are exceedingly efficient and reliable, he added.
