Using patented VectorControl energy efficient technology, the new controller continuously monitors electrical current and operates with a variable frequency. Doors only use the amount of power they need for optimal speed and performance. Unlike standard contactor controllers on other doors, the VectorControl opens and closes the door panel quickly and smoothly, eliminating jerky movements at the top or bottom of the cycle. The smoother operation decreases wear and tear and reduces noise.
The MCC VectorControl comes in a sleek anodize aluminum enclosure that looks good in any environment, and the graphical display gives real-time door status information along with step-by-step instructions for setup and diagnostics. The compact design allows for easy placement in areas with limited space because the main unit is mounted next to the motor while the interactive display, which is just 2.75” x 6.87”, can be placed just about anywhere.
