Hawks tick all the boxes for poll day
Campbell Brown, Jarryd Roughead, Michael Osborne and Max Bailey were among players who voted early, in preparation for their weekend trip to
what Tasmania to play Fremantle.
Brown said he was happy to get his vote out of the way, admitting politics wasn't the hottest topic in the change room.
"It's not something that we think too much about," the Hawk hardman said.
"We probably should because it's a major issue for the nation, but it doesn't really excite our conversation.
"I think there's much more of us following footy than politics."
Australian Electoral Commission director of operations Steve Kennedy said Victorians needed to plan ahead if they were going to be away on Saturday.
"If people are going to be away, interstate or overseas they need to cast an early vote," Mr Kennedy said."Particularly those going to
what the snowfields on Saturday because there's no voting up at the snow."
