Max Headroom: The Complete Series
If viewers can put up with a drawn-out set-up, they will find a few reasons to watch: Carell’s striptease is one, and Mark Wahlberg’s supporting turn as a shirtless wonder is another.
But the rest of the supporting cast, including Kristen Wiig, Leighton Meester and James Franco, come off more creepy than comedic. Sadly, the delicious gag reel (Carell’s hilarious change-up of accents in a restaurant scene) is better than the film.
