Hop over to Holiday Harbor for Easter fun
Kids are invited to grab their Easter baskets and hop on over to Holiday Harbor tomorrow,
Grow lights April 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Carnival, sponsored by the Jr. Women’s Club and the Men’s Golf Club.
The egg hunt will begin at 10: 30 a.m. with the tossing of the golf ball “eggs” for children to gather. Each child who participates will receive a prize, but the child in each age group who finds the special egg will receive a $20 gift card to Toys R Us. Age groups are 0 to 2, 3 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 9 and 10 to 12. “Children need to bring their own baskets to collect the ‘eggs,’” says JWC spokesperson Krissy Cissell.
In addition to the egg hunt, wristbands will be available that include unlimited use of the bounce house, carnival games, temporary tattoos and a photo with the Easter Bunny.
Food tickets will be sold for hot dogs, pizza,
Grow lights cotton candy, popcorn, baked goods and more. Tickets for prize drawings will be available for $1 per ticket. A drawing for prizes will begin at 1:30 p.m. and ticket-holders need not be present to win.
Parents are invited to shop for last minute Easter basket items from the various vendor booths that will be on hand.
