The city's waste reduction staff will be handing out one
to each family at the Barrie Farmers' Market at city hall on Saturday morning.
"We've had people calling us, asking when we're giving out those bags again," said Tracy Quann-Strasser, the city's waste reduction coordinator. "The idea of the bags is getting people to choose environmentally-friendly products."
The city is also running it's Waste Reduction Week school art contest, asking students to decorate a paper bag with
