| 6.4, a new stable version of the project's legacy 6.x branch, has been released: "The FreeBSD Release Engineering team is pleased to announce the availability of FreeBSD 6.4-RELEASE. At this time 6.4-RELEASE is expected to be the last of the 6-STABLE releases.
