| Linux is a Slackware-based distribution featuring the latest Xfce desktop and a custom package manager called "kpkg". The project has announced a new release, version 2.2: "I'm proud to announce that Kwort 2.2 final version has been released. The system is very stable and usable. The core system is based on Slackware and provides a rock-solid system, and it's also a great place to start making a full-featured and usable desktop environment using Xfce. Kpkg is now the official package manager, providing an easy way to remove and install local and mirrored packages.
