Michael Prokop has announced the release of 0.9 RC1, a Debian-based live CD for system administrators: "The first release candidate of grml 0.9 is available."
Besides several new scripts, "cheatcodes" and hard disk installation
improvements, the release includes the following new features: "Updated
to X.org 7.1.1; Unicode support through boot option; added FreeDOS 1.0
from the Balder project; new handling for added and removed devices;
split package grml-etc into grml-etc + grml-etc-core (the latter one
provides the core configuration files for zsh, Screen and Vim); boot
