Who am I?
To answer question asked by nmap, I decide to write this article.
1. Who am I?
a CU blogger, a programmer, a man, a engineer.
You may call me bilbo, which is my name in web. My chinese name is
Wang Lei, which is used by many people in China, some of them are
very famous.
2. Which job do I engage in?
Now my work is mainly in railway application, especially automatic
train protection system. I donot know how to define my role, neither
software programmer nor hardware engineer. Since last year, I do odds
and ends most of time. Although I donot like my current work, I still
adapt myself to it. You know, if you could not change the world, you
must adapt yourself to the world. That is what I do.
3. Things I can do.
Write programs. I like it. Although I only do it after hours now,
I prefer to say I am a programmer.
I am familar with C/C++, perl, autohotkey and Txl, some of them are
not well-known.
4. 'Research' interest
I am not a researcher indeed. But I like to read materials on the following
fields: compiler construction, programming language design, safety system,
software architecture, GUI and formal methods.
To design and implement a language system is my dream, but now it is much
like The Arabian Nights.
